Good Morning…

It’s much easier for me to wake up at 5:00 a.m. to go running here in Arizona for two reasons: One it’s already light outside…and two I get to see these flying over everyday. They are everywhere in the sky!!!

Normally I would feel uneasy if I was being followed during my morning run. Not today! I felt like this balloon was following me the whole way. It’s safe to say I would be ok with being abducted on my run if it meant I got to ride in a Hot Air Balloon!

I’ve taken a ride in one over 10 years ago….and some day I want to fly high again in one. But for now I’ll just enjoy my early mornings with the beautiful scenery.

Playing them hard…

I’ve always tried to play my kids hard during the day so I can get them into bed early so I get plenty of ME TIME in the evening. The fact that I’ve found Sadie asleep like this in her bed a couple of nights in a row makes me think I may be playing her a little to hard. She hasn’t been able to make it even 3 pages into her books before falling asleep.

p.s. Aunt Lindsay as you can see Sadie’s taking good care of your baby (The dog Rufus) until you move here.

I just had to insert this picture…pretty much because it’s just so darn cute!

Girls night in…

The great thing about being in AZ is living close to Rich’s family. One night we had a girls night in at cousin Catherine’s house.

We played dress up…

Did makeup…

And pedicures….

Put on plays and dances…

And spent the night growing closer to our cousin we missed during the past year!

We’re melting…

So we’ve made the move to Arizona…at the most wonderful time of year (ha, ha). So a lot of you have asked “What do you do in 110 degree weather?”….WELL THIS IS IT!
