CAN’T SLEEP!

We’ve been having a hard time getting Sadie up in the morning in time for school. She’s claiming she can’t get to sleep at night…..SO WE INVESTIGATED THE PROBLEM FURTHER AND DISCOVERED THE REASON SHE CAN’T SLEEP!

The cutest little BED BUG has been sneaking into her room at night and crawling into her bed!

And apparently the broken record of the “BA….FEET ARE COLD! BA…FEET ARE NOT COLD” repeated a billion times…does not loll one to sleep…surprising!

I also chuckle at how Sadie is kind of off in her own world for awhile there at the beginning! This video is a little long…but the funniest part is at the beginning anyway:)

Today we hit up the Rodeo going on next door to Rich’s clinic… We really didn’t take any pictures of the day…so sad! But I love this one of Kendyl!

Kendyl wanted to ride the real pony…while Mason and Sadie rode the mechanical bull!

Christmas Day…

So Santa left Sadie these BIG OL’ LONG EARRINGS in her stocking. Silly Santa…I think he was a little confused, because in the package they looked like small little dangly earrings. Sadie enjoyed wearing them for a couple of days and then they got misplaced….dang it! Well maybe Santa will bring her 10 inch hoops next year!

Crush

So Sadie’s crush (who is in our ward) found out today about HER feelings for HIM…(which the feeling is mutual according to his mom and the multiple stories she has already told me….which is how I found out about this particular story). So today after someone mentioned to him that Sadie had a crush on him too, he went to Sadie’s friends asking each one of them if it was true. None of them would give him a straight answer. So he went to Sadie himself and said “Sadie is it true you have a crush on me?” And Sadie’s reply was… “I GUESS YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND OUT WHEN YOU TURN 16”.

That a girl….I guess all of those small mentions of not dating until she is 16 is sinking in. I got a good laugh out of that today. Kids are so funny!

MASON LOST HIS FIRST TOOTH…. for those who want to see the infamous moment…here’s the video!

 The tooth fairy was surprised to find more than just the tooth under his pillow. The tooth fairy also found $.48 cents in coins (which were placed by Sadie). When we asked Sadie the next day about her generous donation she said “You know the tooth fairy is not the only person who can do something nice for someone who just lost their first tooth”. What a doll! Love my big hearted girl.

Snow-woman

This is a picture Sadie drew in a calendar she made for me this year…of a SNOW-WOMAN! Not to be confused with a SNOWMAN! But I think she has made it very clear in her drawing….don’t you think?

Rich thinks I should title this post “HAPPY TRIPLE-D NEW YEARS!”

Christmas Eve….

Went ice blocking with THE EVANS! (We can’t go snow sledding here…so I think this will be our new tradition)

Then we went to the Norton’s for dinner and a really entertaining show

 

     

 

I think we started losing the little ones half way through…
