We got what we wanted \’’/
So when we were trying to decided where we should move after Rich graduated from Vet school, we agreed that the most important thing to us was finding a family friendly neighborhood where we could create fond memories for the kids. Well WE GOT WHAT WE WANTED! We love our neighbors and the friends we have met since moving here. We are surrounded by so many families with young kids that are very outgoing and so sweet. It seems like it’s just been one party after another this summer here in the neighborhood…Thanks to the Oliverson’s who’s always providing their home as party central.
This past weekend the Oliverson’s put together a OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT with lot’s of friends….treats…. and fun! My kids won’t stop talking about it.
The last get together at the Oliverson’s was just a couple of weeks ago where they had a huge BBQ and an UGLIEST SHIRT CONTEST!
Here we are sportin our ugliest shirts…
So did any of us win the contest….Nope…the competition was pretty intense!
Here was winner…He was very deserving of this award.
THANK YOU OLIVERSON’S FOR THROWING SUCH FUN GET TOGETHERS!
My kids are loving their new friends…we feel very blessed!

Bear Lake (continued)
We finally made it down to the beach that first day but it was late in the evening. It was getting dark and cold so I didn’t put the kids in there swim suits because I thought they wouldn’t feel up to swimming….MY MISTAKE…I ended up with kids in wet clothes and no towels!
Cousins: Payton and Christian
What is it with babies eating sand…I can’t even handle having one grain of sand in my mouth let alone a whole mouth full
Sitting around the campfire….UNTIL THE KIDS FALL ASLEEP!
Aunt Patience & Cousin Kate….Cousin Corbin (just one week older than Kendyl)…
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SOGGY DIAPERS FALL OFF???…You get to taxi naked children back up to camp to get a new change of clothes!
Sadie being Ethan (THE INVENTOR’S) assistant
Crusin the lake in style!
MASON HAD ENOUGH…HE DROPPED! He slept for at least 2 hours in the sand…looks comfy!
WAKING UP is not so fun when you have sand plastered to your face and in every crevasse
BUT A SNACK WILL ALWAYS MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER…
Bear Lake (with Nickie’s family)
As soon as we got to Bear Lake, Mason took off his pants …as usual…put it on his head and chased the other little kids around with this rake!
Minnetonka Cave
First day: Hiking through Minnetonka Cave.
It was really cold and A LOT OF WALKING AND STAIRS were involved…but it was still fascinating and exciting for the kids!
There were so many rock formations….
BUT MY KIDS WERE MORE CURIOUS TO CHECK OUT THE INDOOR LIGHTING!
An example of the fun stairs I got to walk my kids up and down!
We even discovered a couple of critters…a bat and a rat…but no cat in a hat \’’/ (it’s late).
The one formation the kids actually got to touch…BECAUSE AS YOU CAN SEE IT’S ALREADY BLACK AND DEAD!
