Take me out to the ball game…

One of the technicians that works with Rich auditioned to sing the Star Spangled Banner at the D-Backs vs. Indians game. She was picked! So the whole vet clinic shut down half way through the day so we could go to the game to support her….SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB!

I think the kids enjoyed the hotdogs, nachos, lemonade, mike and ikes, sunflower seeds, licorice and ice cream more than the game itself. We came home with sun kissed cheeks and sleepy children. What a fun day!

Goodnight…

Kendyl almost got herself all ready for bed before she fell asleep…almost! At least her head will be warm. She was OUT! She didn’t even budge when I rolled her over to get her jammies on. She gets her heavy sleeping from her Dad!

Sadie has decided to start sleeping on the crib mattress on the floor of her bedroom so she won’t have to make her bed in the morning….ok whatever works!

At least she’s back to wearing jammies to bed. Last night, she put on her school uniform just before jumping into bed (with her belt on and all). When I questioned her she said “This way I can sleep longer in the morning because I won’t have to get dressed”. I let it fly because I had a feeling wearing clothes to bed wouldn’t be something she would enjoy doing for a long time. I WAS RIGHT!

Nazi spa…

You may think you are just sending your kids over to our house to play and have a good time…little do you know we torture them by making them participate in Sadie’s Nazi Spa!

The surprising thing was they were actually enjoying it. Even the little kiddos who in most instances would not be able to hold still for very long, laid there barely moving for at least 30 minutes.

My favorite was when Jack was falling asleep and Sadie kept saying “YOU ALWAYS NEED TO KEEP YOUR MOUTH OPEN!”  and when she was frustrated with Kendyl not doing things as she wanted she said “That Kendyl needs to go to a toddler spa!”

And not long after Sadie finally gave permission for her prisoner spa clients to leave…Jack got up and headed straight to the backyard to help Rich take care of some manly landscaping. I think he had enough of the cucumber facial!!!

Sadie may be a little strict when it comes to her spa treatments…but I think it’s working…LOOK HOW YOUTHFUL THEY ARE ALL LOOKING!!!

Our New Aunt Nicole!

Uncle Taylor just got married!!! (In Virginia…and very suddenly…so we were not there for the special occasion). So we were excited when they made a quick trip into town this weekend so we could meet his new bride. We love her and we are excited to have a cool new Aunt join the family! Congrats Tay and Nicole…we are so happy for you.

These a days…

If you’re wondering what the Reeves’ are doing these days….this is it

DIGGING A LARGE WHOLE IN OUR YARD….BY HAND!!!

The ground is solid…but we want our trampoline in the ground…and we don’t want to spend any money doing it. So we get to put our muscle to work…

DSC_5457

But it brings our family together…and that part we like!

But sometimes our help gets a little distracted doing other things…

DSC_5470

At least the kids make the most out of the days when we rush out into the backyard to work and we forget to help the kids change out of their jammies….Kendyl just spices up her “All day in Jammies” look!

Then the kids play until they drop…

ALL THE WHILE MOM AND DAD ARE STILL OUTSIDE DIGGING!

Valentines Day…

And that’s about as good as it got today. Ok not really…they did get chocolates and a movie. Next year I’ll get back on my game of being Valentines Day Momma Rama! It’s just that life’s been crazy!

And yes I do have two other children who apparently didn’t get any pictures taken on this special day…but I love them all the same!

And I know I should mention how much I love MY VALENTINE….I really do! It’s just too bad that I saw him for a total of 10 minutes on Valentines. Good thing he loves me everyday of the year. LOVE YOU BABE AND HAPPY VALENTINES
