Their Daddy’s Blood…

My kids have NEVER been afraid of any animal (which as a mother makes me very nervous…it just increases our chances   of one of our kids making it on “When Animals Attack” shows). Maybe it’s because they are just like their Daddy or maybe it’s because they’ve been around all sorts of animals with their Dad being a vet.

I caught this lizard in our backyard….

Sadie was the first to grab it from me!

She loved it for a long time…then convinced her friend she should hold it too.

Like any NORMAL child….her friend was a little hesitant to handle a wild creature….but she was willing to give it a go.

She’s not quite sure she wants to go through with this… but she’s being SO BRAVE!

Hmmm…. I think it’s safe to say SHE’S NOT A LIZARD LOVER!

4th of July in Logan…

We got to my sister’s on the evening of the 3rd. We watched fireworks in the crisp evening temperature….that’s something we never get on the 4th in Arizona!

At one point we all busted up laughing when we realized all of us were in awe at the fireworks, while Mason was turned around just staring at his cousin Tanner! What a funny boy!

On the 4th we headed up to Bear Lake…just in time to eat dinner at La Beaus!

I LOVE LOVE this picture! My brother’s looking like a bike champion, while my daughter looks like she’s fearing for her life…the next picture proves she was actually having fun!

Some of the best memories I’ve ever had were made in Bear Lake as a child…sure do love that place!
