Every year we try to make a visit to the Webb Dairy Farm in Declo, ID….don’t know where it is…just google “The middle of nowhere” and you’ll pull up info on Declo. This farm is owned by the family of some good friends of ours from when Richard was in school at Utah State. We made it a tradition to visit their farm every year to open our kids eyes to a whole new world from what they are used to. WE LOVE IT THERE! This year we were only able to spend one day there because of Rich’s work. ONE DAY JUST ISN’T ENOUGH…I need at least 3 or 4 days of that good country air in my system…even if it does smell like poop!
We went to the COUNTY FAIR…where it was obvious that we were outsiders. While everyone at the fair wore their Wranglers and cowboy boots…Sadie walked around in her high heel shoes and zebra sunglasses. Yes…she’s our city girl through and through!
THEN…we went to do the OVER-SIZED SLIP AND SLIDE!
At one of the houses on the farm the owner has a HUGE, HUGE, yard where he built two giant slip and slides along with a zip line, large swing set, trampoline, volleyball set etc..etc. So many fun things to do there. Sadie is our slip and slide dare devil…Mason on the other hand would not go NEAR the slide.
CRAZY HOW LONG THAT SLIDE IS…ISN’T IT? And we would ride that thing to the VERY END. Which made for a real fun walk back up! And you can get an idea just how beautiful the farm is from this picture.
THANK YOU WEBB’S once again for showing us such a good time. We wish we could have spent more than just a day with you.
I didn’t get a picture of our favorite family (the Webb’s) but I’ll be posting some fun videos of our slip and slide adventures, which include a run of their entire family at one time…So fun!

That slide looks like so much fun. What a great idea. I totally want to slide down that one. Sorry you were only able to stay one day.
