Watch out!

So this is what came rolling through Arizona yesterday (you know the storm that tackled our tree over onto our van).

This is a dust storm rolling in…

Looks scarier than it really was. I heard the wind and the thunder…but didn’t even think anything of it. The blinds were closed and by time I got the kids to bed the storm was over. It wasn’t until our neighbor came banging on our door to tell us about our tree that I realized how crazy this storm got. As I was standing in the checkout line at the grocery store EVERYONE was talking about it. I chuckled to myself, because apparently, I was the only one who didn’t know what was going on at the time.

WELL THANKS TO THIS STORM OUR BIKE RIDE WAS CUT SHORT THIS MORNING…

Doesn’t get any better than that!

Super Hero Dad…

It’s been two weeks since Father’s Day. Poor Rich kind of got the shaft on his special day. We had just barely moved into our new home and things were CRAZY! I told him there was no way I could pull off what I had planned and we will do it in a couple of weeks. We did the best to pamper him with yummy food, treats, cards and a nice long nap. (That last one is the best gift one can get anyway:)

Even if his day wasn’t fireworks and hoopla…we still think he’s our super hero! WE LOVE YOU DADDY! THANK YOU FOR BEING SO FUN!

(My favorite is the pirate patch under the mask…)

If you come to our house on Sundays you just might find us looking so ridiculous…. Sundays are long…but never boring!

Curious cat…

I think it’s cute how Chloe likes to watch the kids take a bath. Last night she happened to fall in (at least that’s Mason claim)…all we know is we had a wet crazy cat running frantically around the house last night.

Hands of heaven…

Sadie and her little “hands of heaven on earth” have been busy working again. She made (ALL BY HERSELF…WITH NO HELP FROM MOM)  a pink hat for her baby cousin who will be coming soon. Here is a picture of her giving it to Aunt Melanie!
