How is it that a man can go from this…
A RUGGED, MANLY HUNTER, traipsing through the desert (just one week ago)….to this:
The same man…making his way through the desert…holding a pretty pink purse!!!
That would be because this time he took with him his 7 year old princess…
Even when going out on a Saturday afternoon hike…Princess Sadie must bring along her purse full of all the necessities. Which included water (ok..makes sense), jacket (yes, understood), sunglasses (well it does get bright in AZ), and little towel to dab her sweat (yes it’s Arizona…but we’re passed the dripping sweat season) and an extra pair of dress up shoes (Wait what???) You know just incase we find ourselves needing to dress up in the middle of
No where!
The things coming out of this little girls mouth during the hike made me laugh even harder….she truly is already in her pre-teens…SCARY! At one point she mentioned the hike would be more fun if Dad was wearing a TV on his back. And she nearly passed out when Dad picked up some Rabbit poop…well ok, Mom nearly passed out too…but I skipped the melodramatics, where as Sadie did not!
Somehow, Princess Sadie survived her hike through the wilderness.
The kids enjoyed investigating every little hole…
And the contents of every stinky poop…
It’s just fun to be able to get outside without cooking to death! We love Arizona in the winter!
