Our Kendi-pie

Kendyl’s at such a fun stage in life. She says a new word just about everyday. Her favorite word right now is “Backpack”…because she loves reminding her older brother and sister not to forget their backpacks when heading off to school.

She reminds me a lot of baby Sadie. She has this spunky little personality but can be so shy too.

So the craziest thing about Kendyl is the affect that Uncle Brian has on her. She can be soooooo wired up and hyper, and then as soon as he picks her up she goes into what seems like a trance. It’s like she’s asleep with her eyes open. SHE DOESN’T MOVE…..AND SHE STAYS LIKE THAT FOR A VERY LONG TIME!!! When I took this picture, she had been laying on his chest for at least a half an hour. It’s like she has this uncomfortable uneasiness around him. Usually if she doesn’t want to be with someone she just cries. But with Brian it’s like she enjoys being with him, but she’s too nervous to move SO SHE FREEZES! I think she stayed in this position until Brian finally got up off the couch.

Kendyl loves to brush her teeth, blow her nose, and shave her upper lip with Daddy’s razor (after having a sore bloody face, here’s to hoping that will never happen again). Everything goes on her nose (toothpaste, chapstick, FINGERNAIL POLISH, just about anything she can get her hands on). She’s always into drawers, cupboards, purses….you know all those areas you keep things that you don’t want your toddler into.

But she gives GREAT KISSES….at least 10 at a time! So I think we will keep her…because we sure do love her!
